Plzen Zoological and Botanical Garden s the second oldest zoo in the Czech Republic. We will go there by unique ZOO train. The collection of animals contains more than 1,300 species and 6,500 individuals [the largest in the country]! Zoo attendance is more than 450,000 people per a year and it was ranked among the 4 most successful zoos and one of the main attractions of the Czech Republic. Among the most interesting Pilsen animals are: Indian rhinos, Sudanese cheetahs, Liberian hippos, Komodo dragons, giant tortoises, lemurs, chimpanzees, giraffes, Siberian tigers, Snow and Chinese leopards, penguins and many others.
